Summary: Adding your sheds to The Shed App is the first thing that needs to be done when setting up a new account. During the onboarding process TSA onboarding staff will add all of your shed data as accurately as we are able given any information provided. However, it is important that you understand how this is done so that you can make changes as needed. You have complete control over your product library and can make changes at anytime.
Add Your Shed Data to The Shed App
Step 1: Add Building Styles
Definition: A building style is a unique shed roof shape.
Steps to Add:
1. Navigate to System > Categories > Building Styles
2. Click Add Style
3. Fill in all of the required fields
4. Click Add
5. Repeat for every Building Style
Step 2: Add Building Models
Definition: A building model is a style with dimensions and a retail price specified.
Steps to Add:
1. Navigate to System > Catalogs > Building Models
2. Click Add Building Model
3. Select a style
4. Set width, length, wall height, and price
5. Click Add
6. Repeat for all sizes and styles
Step 3: Setup Colors for Options
Definition: A color represents paint, stain, metal colors, and shingle textures. Color are not sidings.
Step 4: Add Options
Step to Add:
1. Navigate to System > Catalogs > Option
2. Click Add Option
3. Select the category of option
4. Fill in the required fields, including the price
- In the “Rules” section it is important to allow the option on the correct styles
5. Click Add
6. Repeat for all options
